About School Daze:
During homecoming weekend at a historically Black college, tensions erupt as fraternity and sorority members clash with students who openly challenge campus traditions, power structures, and ideas of respectability. Rivalries spill from dorm rooms to the quad, exposing deep divisions around class, colorism, activism, and what it means to belong. As part of our Black History Month series, Spike Lee’s sharp, musical, and confrontational satire remains a bracing look at debates that refuse to stay in the past.
